Mom's Day Card

Here is a soft feminine card I made for my dear Mother, again I used the lovely Songbird collection by Prima. So far this is my favorite Prima collection to date!!! Love the soft pastels and the sweet little birds. Everything I used on this card is Prima except the stamps used inside, they are from Papertrey Ink and the sheer ribbon is just a roll I bought at my local craft store. Songbird Wedding Card

Here is a wedding card I made with Prima's new Songbird papers and embellishments. I just love this collection, it is so soft and pretty. Everything I used on this card is Prima except the ribbon, the doily and the small white rose. The card base is made from Papertrey Ink's cardstock. I just recently discovered how much I LOVE their cardstock, it is so thick and sturdy. I definitely will be stocking up and hoarding as many colors as I can get my hands on. Card Lift

Sometimes when I'm creating I just get stuck! I look everywhere for inspiration, sometimes I find it and sometimes I don't. I receive e-mails from Papertrey Ink and almost always find inspiration in them. I Love their products and look forward to seeing what they come up with each month. I lifted my card design from Maile Belles,
she has the cutest blog and a lot of really great ides. I didn't have the dies to cut out my flowers so I hand cut each stamped and heat embossed flower and all the leaves. I added some cute Prima Songbird paper to the front and the inside of my card and also added a sheer ribbon bow at the top of my card.

The stamps and cardstock are both from Papertrey Ink and the ribbon is from Joann Crafts. I hope Maile
doesn't mind that I used her design her card was just so Adorable I just had to make one for myself!

Shaped Sympathy Card

I just love the Beautiful new Songbird papers by Prima that I used on this card, they are so soft and feminine. I used one of the Songbird notecards as well. I used my Gypsy to design the shape for my card and cut it out with my Cricut. I used a paper doily I found in the cake section of my local craft store, some pretty seam binding and a couple Prima flowers. The butterflies I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder and cut them out. The little words are from The Girls Paperie paper girl sticker pad. I also did a little sewing and inking along the shaped side of the card. I just love how a little stitching adds so much to any project. Thanks so much for stopping by! Just a quick post to share a fun brightly colored birthday card I made. The papers and the die cut journal card with transparency overlay are Basic Grey- The Lemonade collection, the flowers and the leaves are Prima, the bling is Glitz and the butterflies I stamped with a Prima stamp. Just a quick post to share a Mother's Day card I made. The polka dot paper and the pink and green papers inside the card are My Mind's Eye, the stamps are from Papertrey Ink and the flowers are Petaloo. The vintage looking flamingo image I found on the internet, you wouldn't believe how difficult it was to find an image that I could use that wasn't copyrighted. Hi All! Hope everyone is having a Great start to their new year! I just wanted to share a card I made for a friend recently, she loves Betty Boop so I had to scour the internet for the perfect image for my card. I found a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers website on how to make a tunnel card so I thought I would give it a try. I altered the measurements just a bit to get the size of card I needed. Splitcoast Stampers is a Great resource for ideas and inspiration. The papers I used are Glitz Design's Beautiful Dreamer collection I Love the soft, romantic feel of these papers! The flowers are Prima and the rest of the stuff I just had laying around my scraproom from previous MCS Kits. Thanks a Bunch for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!!!

I just wanted to share real quick some of the Christmas Cards I have made for my friends and family. This year I really struggled to come up with ideas to put these cards together, I sat in my scrap room and twiddled my thumbs for about a week and a half. I don't know what happened to my creative mojo. Ugh!!! So I pulled out an old book I bought from goodwill, tore some pages out and started creating like crazy, I also used my December LE Kit from My Creative Scrapbook (almost used up the entire kit!) It's pretty cool how one simple element can not only complete the look of a card but it also creates a theme for the whole set of cards! Just a quick posting of a card I made a while back, the pictures have just been sitting on my camera. I just used a lot of little odds and ends from previous MCS kits. The quote I found on Scrapbook.com. I used one of Basic Grey's paper doilies on my card but I didn't like the color of it so I just flipped it over to the backside where it is plain white, I really like how that came out with this card. It's been awhile since my last post, I am starting to feel guilty for neglecting my blog! My camera is full of pics of the recent cards I have made but I just haven't had much free time lately. Here is a card I made this afternoon for my sweetie's Dads birthday. I am not very good at guy cards but here it is anyway.
I found a neat tutorial on tailored envelopes on the Splitcoast Stampers website it's really fun and easy to alter envelopes that are too big for your card and you can also make them match your card perfectly with a little scrap of leftover paper! Here is a closeup of the cute stamp I found at a local scrapbook store recently....
It is made by JudiKins in case you want to look for it, I think every cardmaker should have a fun stamp like this for their envelopes. Well hope have a Great night and thanks for stopping by!!!

Soft and Shabby

I just Love, Love, Love the latest LE kit from My Creative Scrapbook!
I made this card with it and I almost don't want to give it away Lol. I used my Gypsy to cut the shape of the card out and I punched out all the die cuts from the Melissa Frances Die cuts that came in the kit and used the negative sheet to trace the shape of the stars and cut them out of some cardstock scraps from previous projects. I added the pretty pink seam binding and the pearl brad from my own stash. There you have it- a perfectly coordinated (by MCS) shabby card! Thanks for stopping by, Have a Happy Sunday!

Pretty Purple Card

The papers I used on this card are from My Mind's Eye. The flowers are mostly Prima, the big purple one is Kaisercraft. The bling is Prima and the fluer de lis I cut out with the help of my Cricut. The scalloped shape of the card I also used my Cricut for as well as my Gypsy. The seam binding I bought on Etsy.
